This 1962 Porsche 356B is a Super 90 Coupe that came factory-finished in Bali Blue over Light Grey leatherette upholstery. It features a 1.6-liter flat-four engine, dual Weber carburetors, K&N air filters, an electric fuel pump, a 12-volt electrical system, a 4-speed manual transaxle, and 15” ventilated steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. The car was refurbished in the early 1990s and acquired by the seller in September 2023. Accompanied by a copy of the original Kardex, recent service records, and a pre-purchase inspection, this 356B Super 90 is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET by its seller out of Colorado.
The T6 bodywork was built by Karmann and came factory-finished in Bali Blue (6212). It was repainted in its original color during the early 1990s along with the replacement of the floor pans. The exterior is adorned with chrome trim, a driver’s side mirror, a twin-grille decklid, rear bumper overriders with integrated exhaust tips, and powder-coated 15” ventilated steel wheels with chrome Porsche-crested hubcaps and 165/80 Classic All-Season tires. A touched-up painted chip is noted below the fuel door along with some other cosmetic imperfections around the exterior; detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior has been refurbished with Light Grey leatherette upholstery and charcoal square weave carpeting. Accessories include lap belts, a black three-spoke steering wheel, a body-colored dashboard fascia, black rubber floor liners, door panel storage pockets, roll-up windows, a locking glovebox, a heater, VDO instrument dials, an analog clock, and a Porsche-branded digital stereo paired with aftermarket speakers.
Factory-rated at 90 HP, the numbers-matching 1.6-liter flat-four engine has been fitted with dual Weber carburetors and K&N air filters. It drives the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped with an electric fuel pump and the electrical system has been converted to 12 volts. A 2021 service invoice shows the carburetors were rebuilt, the oil sump screen was resealed, the wheel bearings were repacked, and the tailpipes were replaced along with the battery, front wheel cylinders, and brake hardware. An oil change was recently completed along with a pre-purchase inspection available for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a copy of the Kardex, recent service records, a driver’s manual, and a clean title.

We would suggest to have independent Porsche service do the PPI. Storz Garage would be a good start.
