Now up for auction at no-reserve is this 1960 Porsche Diesel Junior 108. Having spent its life in the service of a small family farm in Bavaria, this Porsche Junior is said to have undergone a recent full restoration including a full rebuild of the engine and transmission by a marque specialist in Germany before being safety tested, TUEV approved, and imported to the U.S. Representing an important chapter in Porsche’s history as well as a fantastic piece of drivable memorabilia, this 1960 Junior is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
During the restoration, this Junior was refinished in its traditional factory shade of red. The paint is described by the seller to have been done to a very high standard while remaining in show-quality condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. This tractor is equipped with headlights, taillights, and an additional set of running lights on the leading edge of the rear fenders. All production and VIN plates are original to the tractor and new tires are said to have been recently installed.
Power comes from an air-cooled single-cylinder 822cc diesel engine that originally produced 14 HP, and is paired with a dual-range 3-epicyclic 3-speed transmission with high and low ranges. Both the engine and transmission are said to have been fully rebuilt during the restoration along with a rebuild of the electrical system and the installation of a new muffler.
This sale will include a German title as well as U.S. import documentation. A must-have for any avid Porsche collector, this beautifully restored Junior is not to be overlooked.

@Skyking Again, the person had multiple tabs open and bid by mistake. You can clearly see that he placed a bid for that amount on the 996 GT3 Cup that ended at the same time. We made an announcement and there was ample time to bid. We understand the frustration of losing out, however, we would have no reason to support any type of malicious behavior. This is why we monitor each and every sale at the end to be there in case of any issues. We would appreciate you refraining from any further harsh accusations. Our help desk can be reached by clicking contact us at the bottom of the page. Thank you.
@PCARMARKET I respectfully disagree. The phony 58K bid caused the real players to back off. I would have paid more that the winning real bidder ... but not 58K. So we fold after the 58 K bid is made. Next guy slips in for 40k less and wins. Come on! I am a bona fife buyer and businessman This sucks the big Weenie
@Skyking we want to be very clear that the higher an item sells for the better it is for our company and the seller. Not sure what you are referring to as a scam, however, sometimes issues occur and that is very unfortunate. We strive to satisfy all, however, cannot be responsible for the internet speed/connection of bidders.
We bona fife bidders got scammed at the end
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
@Zellamsee we are sorry to hear that but we are here closely monitoring the auction and everything functioned as it should. It was unfortunate that someone made an error bid and while there was some confusion, there was a bid that came in just as the clock ran down that led to an auction extension. Sorry you had trouble, we are not pleased to hear that.
Sold for $19,750
@PCARMARKET Not true. I refreshed my browser and definitely saw the $55K bid retracted. No other bid came in until 30 seconds AFTER the clock had run down, showing my bid as the highest. I know how these things work and this was disappointing.
@Zellamsee Well now it ended. Please refer to the comments where we instructed everyone to refresh their browsers. A bid came in after yours and the clock reset for an additional 2:15sec, that has now run to 0 and the auction has ended.
How do I increase my bid? The button is no longer available. Send via comments?
@PCARMARKET someone bid at the last second and the clock extended for 2 additional minutes.
@Zellamsee you can still increase your bid
What is going on? The last bid came in 30 seconds AFTER the clock ended. I would have increased my bid but again, the competing bid didn't show until 30 second AFTER the clock ended.
@diehlbad Someone made an error bid which has been removed. Please hit refresh. FOLKS PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT AUCTION AND BID AMOUNTS!!
what's going on now?

Guys, this is my beloved Junior. Restored to a very high degree. You can show up at any Porsche event and you will get the looks. This beautiful tractor is ready to go for another 60 years without any work required. Fill diesel and oil - that's it. I have a large collection of 911, this is special. Imagine how many families over decades went to the weekly market in a small Bavarian village. All the potatoes and corn they bought was digged out of the dirt with this beauty. The next owner will be very proud owning this piece of history. Good luck bidding
@Skyking all good but I am not the Salvation Army. At this point I have more $ in transport and taxes just to bring it in. There are almost a thousand hours into the restoration plus all new parts. Do you math...... Good luck bidding
Bid in the amount of $13,750
I’m trying to purchase this Tractor to use at Porsche Club of America (non profit group) sponsored events for our members. Please Cut us some slack on the bidding. This is a no reserve auction . Jim

@In2details I don’t remember my three point hitch being a problem. It didn’t fall to the ground after shut off or after a period of time.
Bid in the amount of $11,000
@BigG Did your three point leak or stay up for a period of time after turning it off? This appears to have a bungee cord to hold it up unsuccessfully even for the photos.

I owned a 1961 Junior muck like this beautiful one. My 61 had a backrest for the left fender so you could have a passenger...it was a stock item and I was able to source parts easily enough in Germany... it’s a very cool single cylinder bang bang sound ...
