We are pleased to present this fully restored, museum quality 1960 Porsche Junior Diesel Tractor. Having spent its life on a farm in Belgium up until two years ago, this 1960 Junior was imported to the U.S. where it was purchased by its current owner. Following some time in storage, this Junior was treated to a full nut and bolt restoration which was completed just a few weeks ago. Representing a true piece of Porsche history, this factory-spec, numbers matching example is now being offered for auction in concours ready condition.
During the restoration process, all components were removed, media blasted, powder coated and painstakingly refinished in their factory original color of Carmine Red. Then, all new electrical accessories were installed including the horn, lights and ignition wiring. All of the restorative work shows to have been carried out to a very high standard and the finished product is certainly worthy of display.
This Porsche Junior is equipped with an air-cooled single cylinder 822cc diesel engine which is capable of producing approximately 14 HP at 2250 RPM. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by way of a dual-range 3-epicyclic 3-speed transmission with high and low ranges. The seller notes that all mechanical components have been either been replaced or refurbished to factory standards. With fresh oil and a new battery, this Junior is said to remain in excellent running order.
The sale of this highly collectible Porsche tractor will include documentation, a set of two keys and a large assortment of original parts including the headlights, taillights, steering wheel, ignition switches and gear knobs. A true piece of automotive art, this Junior Diesel is sure to satisfy any avid Porsche enthusiast.

Absolutely spectacular example! I wish that I could come up with a place to store this and/or any rationalization to purchase it. GLWS!
Hello All,
A 1960 Junior sold at Mecum auctions in Florida this past January for $37,500 and was not near as nice as this one. However, my reserve is FAR less than that one. Whoever wins will be more than pleased. Good luck to all!

The pictures here are really good...but after seeing it in person it is even better. You can tell the seller did a great job restoring this beautiful machine. Really nice. Thanks for your time today @Snowcone.
@Bloomj Sound good. I cannot find anyway to PM you through pcarmarket.
I would think they must have a way for sellers and buyers to communicate.
@Snowcone I’m around as well. Maybe I could swing by today if you have time. I need a reason to take out my 997 anyway.
@Bloomj Sure, I'll be around most of the weekend.
I'm not far from Pelham rd & 85
Let me know the best way to contact you and we can set up a time.
Thanks,
Beautiful tractor. I would love to see it in person and am a local (Simpsonville) Porsche enthusiast. Is that possible (I understand that today’s circumstances may not allow for that).
