After working as a mechanic in the Regia Aeronautica during WWII, Ferruccio Lamborghini opened a small car and motorcycle repair shop near Modena, later expanding into tractor manufacturing under the Lamborghini Trattori brand. This 1959 example is one of approximately 779 Lamborghini 3352 R models produced between 1958 and 1962 and is powered by an air-cooled DLA35 diesel three-cylinder, one of the first engines to have been constructed entirely by Lamborghini. It features a dual-range 6-speed manual transmission, a portal axle, and power takeoff shafts. This tractor was reportedly kept within a family of farmers in Italy for 64 years and was purchased by a Lamborghini tractor specialist in 2023 who performed a subsequent restoration. This highly collectible Lamborghini tractor is now being offered for auction by a collector in Italy.

This tractor has been disassembled and refinished in its traditional two-tone paint combination featuring a blue chassis complemented by an orange engine cover, seat, and wheels. Details include painted Lamborghini script, a sprung steel seat, a black three-spoke steering wheel, gear shift and range selector levers, a side step, a rear draw bar, an oil pressure gauge, an hour meter, a tachometer, power takeoff shafts (PTOs), an Italian number plate, rear lights, dual headlamps, an ANSA muffler stack, and 16”/20” wheels with factory-spec tires. All gauges are said to be working properly.

The air-cooled 2,194cc DLA35 diesel engine produces 35 HP and drives the rear wheels through a dual-range manual transmission with 6 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. The seller indicates the engine and electrical system have been completely overhauled.

The engine of 35 horses and 3 cylinders was one of the first air-cooled engines totally constructed by Lamborghini. With a change of 6 speeds forward and 2 behind. The electric plant was built entirely new, with new original front and rear lights. 4 pneumatic tires with the original measure as from documents.
