This 1958 Porsche-Diesel Junior 108K tractor was used on a farm and registered for road use in Wolfsburg, Germany, and was restored at some point before the seller’s purchase in 2019. The tractor was subsequently imported to the United States and treated to a top-end rebuild of its air-cooled 822cc single-cylinder diesel engine. Accompanied by original documentation showing ownership history from 1958, this Porsche-Diesel tractor is now being offered for auction out of Maine.
This Junior 108K features a black frame with a red hood cowl and fenders. Equipment includes a black three-spoke steering wheel, a black padded driver’s seat, dual fender-mounted side bench seats, an engine temperature gauge, a rear tow hitch, headlamps, brake lights, turn signals, hazard lights, and 16”/24” steel wheels. The seller indicates the wheels were refinished in the proper cream color during their ownership along with some touchups to the red and black paint.
The air-cooled 822cc single-cylinder diesel engine delivers up to 14 HP to the rear wheels through a dual-range 3-epicyclic 3-speed transmission with high and low ranges. Under current ownership, the battery was replaced, and a top-end engine rebuild was performed including new pushrods and piston rings. The seller adds that the glow plug indicator is inoperable, although the glow plugs are working and the engine runs properly.
This tractor is offered with an owner’s manual, original documentation, and a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “I have been the custodian of this tractor for the last 5 years. I believe it is in better shape today than it was when I received it. Other than a few tractor shows, it has not had any use other than riding around my property and up and down my street to my neighbors' amusement. As a Porsche enthusiast, I enjoyed my time driving, maintaining, and learning about the 1-cylinder air-cooled engine.”

The second document shows the next owner dated Sept 10, 1993. Also added is the German user manual in addition to the reproduction English user manual.
I would like to welcome you to the auction of my 1958 Porsche Junior. Wags911, thank you for the bid. In addition to the pictures there are 4 videos in the listing. The first is a walk around the tractor, second is a starting video, third shows the electrical system, and finally a driving video. The starting video shows the process of pushing the key in (that enable the ignition), opening the throttle, pulling the starter switch out half way to energize the glow plug (the glow plug indicator in the dash does not work, however, the glow plug works), and finally puller the starter switch all the way out to start the engine. The electrical system shows the headlight and high beam (enabled when the key is turned to 2nd and 3rd position), turn signals, hazard lights, running lights, horn, and brake lights.
The tractor is located in York Maine. I would be happy to show it to any prospective bidder in person. Any additional questions feel free to post or private message me and I will respond. Thanks, Bob.
