Now up for auction at no-reserve is this iconic 1958 Porsche Junior Diesel tractor. Reported to have been completely disassembled and cosmetically restored in the Netherlands during 2015 before being imported to the United States, this beautifully presented Junior Diesel remains in great running order under the care of its current owner in Wisconsin. Accompanied by a hitch-mounted hydraulic plow as well as an original product brochure, this tractor is a must-have for any avid Porsche collector or enthusiast.
Prior to being imported, this tractor was totally disassembled before being refinished in its signature Guards Red color. Some exterior lighting was also added in compliance with U.S. importation laws. Having been used primarily for static display with a few car show appearances, this tractor is said to be in excellent overall condition with some minor blemishes and imperfections (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).
Power comes from an air-cooled single-cylinder 822cc diesel engine that produces 14 HP at 2250 RPM and is paired with a dual-range 3-epicyclic 3-speed transmission with high and low ranges. This example features dual power take-off shafts (PTO’s) as well as a period Ventzki hand-pump operated hitch-mounted hydraulic plow that was recently refurbished. Offered in solid mechanical order, the tractor is ready to be enjoyed.
This Junior Diesel is accompanied by a bill of sale, an original product brochure and 1 master key. If you are looking for the ultimate piece of Porsche memorabilia, this gorgeous 1958 tractor is certainly worth consideration.

@Tomvwman That's too bad. I joke with my wife that I need a tractor (I don't, as I only live on less than 1/2 acre) and why not a Porsche tractor? Given that I'm in IL, having this one in WI is just perfect! Too bad I don't have anywhere to stash it... Love seeing these come up for auction!

@FNMAG58 great info, thank you!
@akilcoyne There are similar reds but as you say, it looks like others you have seen. RAL 3002 is usually a custom blended color.
Bid in the amount of $9,250
@Skyking The correct color is called Carmine red which is also known as RAL 3002.
Bid in the amount of $9,000
@akilcoyne Thank you for your input! I may be bidding on this item. It would make a fun showpiece at Porsche Events....
I don't' know what the the name of the correct red is of this era of tractor. PCAR named it as Guards red in their write up description for the auction. The tractor was repainted in the Netherlands prior to import into the USA. The tractor appears to be the right color in comparison to other Porsche tractors that I've seen and compared this one to.
@FNMAG58 What is the correct color please?
Guardsman red is not the correct color.

@smdand There are quite a few places that are capable of servicing these tractors. Aase Sales among many other sources have pretty decent parts availability. There is an online Porsche Diesel tractor registry that has endless resources, contacts and repair facility recommendations.
Bid in the amount of $5,000
Any idea where this could be serviced in the USA?
