One of approximately 1,000 new Porsche-Diesel tractors imported to the U.S. between 1956 and 1962, this 1957 Porsche tractor is a P133 model featuring a 42 HP air-cooled diesel three-cylinder engine. It comes equipped with a Model 355 front-end loader and a Model 360 backhoe, rare aftermarket attachments that were specially adapted for these tractors by the Windsor Pippin corporation in Windsor, Vermont. The seller notes that his father worked as a Porsche-Diesel dealer in the 1950s and was personally involved in the initiative to have these attachments equipped for Porsche tractors. Having been comprehensively refurbished since the seller’s purchase about 18 years ago, this highly collectible P133 tractor is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut.
This P133 has been refinished in its original red color and features a 12-volt electrical system, headlights, a taillight, a side bench seat, a tan steel driver’s seat, 16” front wheels, and 28” rear wheels. It comes equipped with power takeoff shafts (PTOs) that power a fully functional Pippin Model 355 front-end loader and a Model 360 backhoe. The seller notes that these attachments can be unbolted and removed without cutting or welding the tractor.
An air-cooled 2,467cc three-cylinder diesel engine delivers up to 38 HP and 87 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Power is transferred through a manual gearbox with 5 forward and 1 reverse gear. The seller indicates the tractor has been mechanically refurbished and is in good running order, although some minor hydraulic fluid seepage is noted at the cylinder gland packings.
This tractor is accompanied by original manufacturer’s literature and a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “As mentioned earlier, my dad was a PD tractor dealer here in CT so I grew up with seeing. operating and repairing these tractors that were far ahead of other manufactured in that era and have collected a fair number during my life, this one is my last one, time does catch up with us all. Please feel free to throw all questions that you might have, and I will do my best to give truthful answers. And thank you for looking and bidding, do not hesitate to bid often!!”

Good morning,
No, this machine has not been " tracked ".
Am sure that it has been trucked between jobsites when it was being used by the original owner.
Some of these tractors are being raced at Rennsport Reunions, wwhere they have a run group espically for tractors.
Has this ever been tracked?
Bid in the amount of $6,750
Thank you , FNMAG58, for your comments and bid.
Appears to me that you have knowledgeable sources and have done extensive research.
And also thanks for your bid.
Please remember that 3 cylinder Porsche Diesel tractors have sold in the high 40 k’s.
This P133 can be converted back to just a tractor by removal of the loader-backhoe attachment.
Can be done without any cutting or welding, just by unbolting the framework of the loader-backhoe by a mechanically inclined individual.
Any questions, please ask.
THANKS and happy bidding

The color is called Carmine red and is also known as RAL 3002. The yellow on the rims is also known a creamy yellow RAL 1014. This is one fine looking tractor and is an original import thru the American Porsche-Diesel Corp. These P133’s were real work horses according to my sources and research.
Bid in the amount of $5,500
Bid in the amount of $4,500
The red, very similar to guards red, is the original red that all Porsche Diesel tractors were painted.
In my restoration any replacement items were sourced from Sal Fanelli, who is THE supplier of parts and technical expertise for all Porsche tractors.
Bid in the amount of $2,500
Is that guards red? Good looking rig, GLWA
Welcome !!
Am sure that for most who are viewing this 1957 P133 Porsche Diesel Tractor, you have not seen one configured as this one. It is believed to have been only 18 units so equipped. The loader and backhoe attachments could be removed, without any cutting or welding, if one so desires to show the tractor by itself.
Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer quickly . I would be able to arrange transportation anywhere in our great USA.
Happy bidding -----
