Available for auction is a rare and authentic 1957 Phillips 66 porcelain sign featuring a white border, produced for just one year during the transition from the orange and black design to the red, white, and black.
The seller states this double-sided 29.5-inch shield sign boasts outstanding condition with an impressive gloss rating of 9+, untouched and fully original—never retouched or reglazed. @LROV yes that is right… the hole was drilled by someone to hang.. don’t know why. With that said this sign is still in excellent condition. Have seen these selling in the mid teens.
To my knowledge, the top hole that is drilled in the black is not appropriate for this sign. Please advise to what your knowledge is.
Bid in the amount of $2,000
