Produced by Willys-Overland Motors, the Jeepster projects the design transition from pre-and post-World War II automotive styling and combines a classic design, a recreational focus, and an open-air driving experience. This 1950 example comes finished in red over a white/red interior and features the most powerful engine option at the time, a 2.6L inline-six paired with a 3-speed manual gearbox. An icon of American automotive culture, this Jeepster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.
The Jeepster features a distinctive design comprised of a sleek elongated body with rounded corners, a large front grille, rounded headlights integrated into the front fenders, and a rear-mounted spare tire. This example comes finished in red with a tan convertible soft top, soft side windows, and polished chrome accents. It rides on steel wheels with bright hubcaps which come dressed in older white wall tires. Paint imperfections are noted, and additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with dark red vinyl upholstery contrasted by a white finished dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes bench seats, a white-finished steering wheel, a column-mounted shifter, and a central instrument panel that houses a speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. Some wear is noted and all gauges and accessories are original, but some are not functional including the speedometer.
Power is derived from a 2.6L inline six-cylinder engine, the highest option available at the time. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The seller states that there is no service documentation available, although there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “We appreciate your interest in this auction. This unit is a new arrival to our inventory and is as basic as a 50's Jeepster can get. It has been in storage for some time, but runs and drives well, and is all stock!”

It blows smoke on cold starts-has been sitting in storage. And it does have oil leaks.
I will respond to the lights/turn signal question shortly-working out of the office at the moment.
Thanks for the interest-Crown Concepts
I see blue smoke in the video
Is it burning oil ? Is there any oil or fluid leaks / drips?
Do all the lights and turn signals work ?
Bid in the amount of $5,000

We are representing this 50's Jeepster as the gauges not functioning-mileage is TMU, because speedometer/odometer do not function. This vehicle came from being in storage for quite some time, and we are selling as it is. Appreciate the bid!
