Customized with a “chop top,” it features power brakes, power windows, power steering, air conditioning, Centerline wheels, and a white oak bed with wooden inlays. Acquired by the seller in 2014, this extensively restored and customized Ford Pickup is now being offered for auction out of California.

Reported to retain its original Ford steel panels, this 1936 Model Y Pickup features a 2” front and 1.5” rear chopped top and has been professionally refinished in vibrant yellow. Custom details include white oak wooden bed inlays, Centerline wheels, chrome trim, a yellow-painted front grille, a polished chrome hood emblem, dual exterior mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller describes the exterior as being in concours condition, with detailed images provided in the gallery.

Inside, occupants are greeted with custom tan vinyl upholstery featuring coordinating suede inserts, a matching suede headliner, and square weave carpeting with contrasting tan piping. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, a tilt steering column, and a suite of custom electronic gauges designed to complement the period-correct styling.

Beneath the hood lies a chromed Chevrolet 350ci V8 small-block crate engine equipped with a mild cam. The rear wheels are driven through a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Upgraded performance features include power brakes and power steering. The seller reports no outstanding maintenance items.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Truck runs excellent and has been meticulously maintained and garaged. As you can see the truck is virtually flawless.  Plenty of power and the Yellow is an eye catcher! Great sounding growl when you push it and it can handle the speed and power!”

@RandR that is the only spot that has a paint issue. The rest of the vehicle is flawless. I did my best to capture every inch of it to show the condition

Beautiful truck, but reading that the seller describes the exterior as concours condition and virtually flawless and then seeing the cracking in the body above the door makes me wonder.. glad that pics is in there for disclosure but not sure how PCAR allows the description given that obvious of a paint and body issue. Best of luck on the sale.

Very nice older restoration. Its stated to be virtually flawless....Picture 113 shows cracked and peeling paint. Are there any other paint issues?
