The 1932-34 Ford has been a favorite of hot rodders since the 1940s. Today, the Ford Roadster is as popular as ever and the bodies and frames are reproduced either in fiberglass or steel. This 1932 Ford Roadster features a custom-built body and frame, a 350ci small-block Chevrolet engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, American Racing wheels, transverse-mounted springs, a custom interior, and more. Having received a “Class Award” at the prestigious Grand National Roadster Show, this 1932 Ford Roadster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida, having covered approximately 600 miles since its completion.

This Ford Roadster comes finished in House of Kolor Lime Green Pearl with sixties show-car style pinstripes. The deeply channeled body was custom-built by Australian-based Rod Bods Down Under and features a working cowl vent and original-style door hinges. The chassis was built by legendary ’32 Deuce chassis builder Squeak Bell and uses Dearborn Deuce rails, TIG welded cross members, boxing plates, and mounts, and Ivory powder coat completes the chassis and covers most of the components. The seller reports that the finish remains in great overall condition and has provided a collection of images that can be found in the gallery. It rides on a set of staggered-width 16’ American Racing Salt Flat wheels which come dressed in a set of Coker Wide White Walls tires.

The cabin is upholstered in beige leather with brown piping and matching door panels. Brown carpets line the floor and the body-colored dashboard is accented by pinstriping that matches the exterior. Features include a two-spoke steering wheel, an analog clock, polished door handles, a Hurst shift knob, and a suite of instrumentation including coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, fuel, an odometer, and a speedometer. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.

Power comes from a carbureted 350ci small-block Chevrolet engine which is fitted with three Rochester carburetors, Jahn’s 11:1 pistons, a Crane solid lifter cam and roller rockers, a vintage Edelbrock three-Deuce intake manifold, and Speedway tru-ram exhaust manifolds. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission and a Currie 8” rear axle with a traction lock differential. Additional features include a Super Bell front axle, and Posies transverse mounted springs both front and rear. The seller notes that an oil and filter service was performed in preparation for this sale.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: "Since its completion, this example has received a “Class Award” at the prestigious Grand National Roadster Show."
